FAQ
Should I send an estimate or an invoice first?
Send an estimate (or quote) before work starts. Switch to an invoice when you are billing a deposit, progress draw, or completed work.
Can I export Excel from these tools?
Exports are PDF and DOCX today. You can copy line items into a spreadsheet if your client needs Sheets or Excel.
Do these tools store my client data?
No. Preview and export run in your browser. Optional drafts use localStorage on your device only.
Is a quote the same as an estimate?
Many trades use the words interchangeably. Use a quote when the price is firmer; use an estimate when scope may still change. State validity either way.
